Title: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Wake of death on 11 November 2009, 21:53 My Example Feather Fiend.
Forgot no xp pen!! woot Wasn't sure how it would work out but i am happy, very fun build and somewhat easy to lvl, as long as ya got a group, HEHE Elf: (Hardiness vs. Enchantments, Keen Sense, Low-light Vision, Skill Affinity: Listen, Skill Affinity: Search, Skill Affinity: Spot, Sleeplessness) 01: Barbarian(1): Weapon Focus: Longbow 02: Barbarian(2): {Uncanny Dodge I} 03: Barbarian(3): Point Blank Shot 04: Barbarian(4): DEX+1, (DEX=21) 05: Barbarian(5) 06: Barbarian(6): Blind Fight 07: Barbarian(7) 08: Barbarian(8): DEX+1, (DEX=22) 09: Wizard(1): Rapid Shot, {Scribe Scroll} 10: Arcane Archer(1) 11: Arcane Archer(2) 12: Arcane Archer(3): DEX+1, Improved Critical: Longbow, (DEX=23) 13: Arcane Archer(4) 14: Arcane Archer(5) 15: Arcane Archer(6): Toughness 16: Arcane Archer(7): DEX+1, (DEX=24) 17: Arcane Archer(8) 18: Arcane Archer(9): Iron Will 19: Arcane Archer(10) 20: Barbarian(9): DEX+1, (DEX=25) 21: Arcane Archer(11): Epic Weapon Focus: Longbow 22: Arcane Archer(12) 23: Arcane Archer(13) 24: Arcane Archer(14): DEX+1, Armor Skin, Epic Prowess, (DEX=26) 25: Arcane Archer(15) 26: Arcane Archer(16) 27: Arcane Archer(17): Great Dexterity I, (DEX=27) 28: Arcane Archer(18): DEX+1, Great Dexterity II, (DEX=29) 29: Arcane Archer(19) 30: Barbarian(10): Great Dexterity III, (DEX=30) 31: Arcane Archer(20) 32: Barbarian(11): DEX+1, (DEX=31) 33: Barbarian(12): Great Dexterity IV, (DEX=32) 34: Arcane Archer(21) 35: Barbarian(13) 36: Barbarian(14): DEX+1, Great Dexterity V, (DEX=34) 37: Arcane Archer(22): Epic Toughness I 38: Arcane Archer(23) 39: Barbarian(15): Great Dexterity VI, (DEX=35) 40: Barbarian(16): DEX+1, (DEX=36) Hitpoints: 480 Max con 700 hp (even when raging) Skillpoints: 256 Saving Throws (Fortitude/Will/Reflex): 24/19/33 Saving Throw bonuses: Mind Effects: +2, Traps: +4 BAB: 29 AB (max, naked): 30 (melee), 58 (ranged) AC (naked/mundane armor/shield only): 29/32 Spell Casting: Wizard(1) Alignment Changes: 0 with a perferator bow ab 65 / 60 / 55 / 50 Dmg is 1 - 8 +18 (max str) AB Ab while raging is 68 add in a aid and bless pot will get 70 AC while raging is 42 I think didnt look at it to close. Also only at +6 dex right now add 3 more to ab with +6 dex bracer Was looking at the build again and just realized that you could take out armour skin and epic toughness for 2 more dex (I think) if you are that close to the front line 2 ac wont help but the 30 hp might, dunno. Oh went 16 barb for the 5 rages a day. Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Godsmack on 11 November 2009, 22:38 No terrifying rage? Worth it for the extra attack and ac (-to enemy ab)
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Thiagow2008 on 12 November 2009, 02:25 i think you need an epic barbarian to terrifying rage
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: janngus on 12 November 2009, 03:02 Unless it's changed here, you actually don't need to be an epic barb, just need to be epic and have barb 15.
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Thiagow2008 on 12 November 2009, 09:36 so epic must be thundering and mighty
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: janngus on 12 November 2009, 14:29 Yes, mighty is only obtainable at barb 21. It needs the lvl 20 greater rage.
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: sestitodc on 12 November 2009, 22:11 Yes, mighty is only obtainable at barb 21. It needs the lvl 20 greater rage. Mighty is obtainable at barb 20. Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: janngus on 12 November 2009, 23:48 Oh yes, that's right.
My mistake. Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Godsmack on 13 November 2009, 00:10 thundering can be got with only 15 barb lvls as well, just need to be epic and have 25 str.
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Wake of death on 13 November 2009, 00:31 Hay,
Thanks for the responces. I didnt think of terrifying rage. Forgot the extra attack, bet thats why I started to put skill point into intimidate hehe. Thundering rage changes the way a weapon works. not sure if it would work. I asked a DM for advise and was told thundering wont work. Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: sestitodc on 13 November 2009, 17:04 Thundering rage does give an additional attack (although if you took thundering and terrifying the extra attacks wouldn't stack), and does add 2d12 mass crits to your bow if it doesn't already have mass crits.
Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Godsmack on 13 November 2009, 21:09 I was just pointing out that Thundering Rage can be obtained with only 15 Barb lvls and wasnt suggesting that it be used on a bow. Interesting to hear that it still adds mass crits to bow tho.
However because of the strength requirement for thundering, terrifying is a much better option for a ranged barb. Title: Re: Elf Barbarian(16), Arcane Archer(23), Wizard(1), Post by: Wake of death on 04 December 2009, 02:39 hay,
I just tried the terrifing(spelling) rage on a lvler mod that I have and it wont let me take the feat even tho i have 28 or 29 in intim. I might be doing something wrong but I think you have to have more barb lvls than I have Thanks Wake |
