27  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Computer died 2 weeks ago, back online now on: 31 August 2008, 02:38
My computer was running like garbage for a long time, then finally died totally about 2 weeks or 3 ago.

I now have a laptop, and am updating my nwn to see how it runs!

Hope to see you all online soon.

There is a huge difference between silly micro management balancing and general logical balancing.

Logic is not bad, insanity on the other hand can be.
29  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Re: CHARACTER DELETIONS on: 05 August 2008, 21:42
There's one BIG issue with the deleter script that none of the scripters that created it have solved.
When gamespy is down anyone can delete everyones toons.

And when gamespy is down anyone can delevel anyone's toons, or take anyone's toons stuff, no difference IMHO, either would take just as long for a dev member to fix.

Put in some gamespy protection, I think thats a better solution...

The fact is a large majority of the players want a deleter.

Why not grant their wish?    Hmmmm?

Wow, logic that transcends most of what people would be able to calculate on their own.

Hmm, this is very threatening to me since I wasn't the one to think of it, and it in no way will make me look good to say yes, since I can likely come up with something half as logical and threatening and people might agree.

So I by default will say no...

Hehehehe...

Of course I will say yes.

You are right.

Umm welcome back.
32  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Re: Curse Song Glitch? on: 08 July 2008, 00:30
Sorry, but personally I think this is quite right.  Curse Song is an offensive action (which in my mind equates to 'attack'), so if you're dropping it on enemies I think they should be able to "see" you.  Otherwise, I'd like to see effectively risk free levelling for all classes too.
Agreed, it should actually remove your invisibility since it is in fact an offensive action.

I have done most of it with 2 with a couple different people.

Not easy at all though.

I didn't download the last one, since its a pack, make sure to virus scan it, though the site looks legit.
