ah that might be because I'm somewhat of a sneaky person and did not put the walkmesh files over there yet . Maybe I should make it more clear in the wiki. The worldgate explanation is only for GvM2 and since the module is not yet finished, the walkmesh files that worldgate is supposed to download aren't publicly available. the 404 error is perfectly normal, I might change this to something more useful soon

As far as remembering your CD key "for an hour" I'm not so sure that's a good idea. What should be done is that the CD key is stored on the chest you're using, and the NPC simply checks your CD key and gives you the key to the chest that has your CD key stored. You could then tell the NPC "I don't want to use my chest anymore." He'll destroy your key; then find the chest with your CD key on it, and store the new CD key as blank until someone else uses it.
A system of this kind already exists see the other topic for the links I posted to it. But instead of keys, it destroys the chest after a certain amount of time and spawns a new one. Also you don't need a key you can just check for CD-key onUse of a chest and then decide to open it or not.

There are much better storage scripts out there that are being used on other servers.
To say this is all based off "Player error" is weak at best in light of the fact that its fixable on the dev side.
I think that Turril mentioned to bring him one that supposedly works better and he will install it. So if you could get a hand on these you can send them in...

People Could place bounties, that would be awesome!!!
I think people should be able to put an amount of xp over a persons head. If someone claims it, well then, the xp gets subtracted from one person and added to another.
Opinions?
Problem, if you just levelled, you char might get illegal because you go leveldown again. I have no clue why HazMatt moved them. Wouldn't Rade do that if he wanted to anyway?
Because he can't move them.

I have to agree on BSG, although I never watched the old series and I love to watch the new series, I think that some of the plot turns are just there to lengthen the show with another ten episodes. Now, almost all the good guys are cylons, but hey they might still turn events in something interesting. What I do know is that the soundtrack is just great . To extend on this topic, I just found out that they have reinvented knight rider, haven't seen it though, if someone has I love to hear your opinions about it.

I am proud of the work you and the team has done. Without you and these efforts the worldly playground and the legacy of this amazing place wouldnt be. I salute you mate.

I'm trying to figure out how it is that some one who goes in and in 2 weeks has 4 perferator bows, 2 RTCs, a star blade and 2 of Galadriel's swords and in six months I have these 2 items. In other words, What is it that they are doing that I am not.
If you really want to know, the guy with the 4 bows has a lot of more luck and should really consider playing in the lotery that month, you never know if luck works on every aspect of life. I know of a time when lim-dul was farming for a starblade, he was busy at it for over a month and the most fun thing was that every time he stopped for that day some other guy joined and looted it on his first run Never saw somebody getting that angry about that, hilarious

You could make a player a monitor on the forums (Turns the spotlight to Skeevie), Because I am on alot, I could learn every single forum rule, and monitor the rant's and raves section, could we do it that way? Please? If we enforced the strict rules on that section, it would probably be empty 99% of the time.. The other 1% is welcome here

I could also make an email adress rants@gondorvsmordor.com and forward it to you matt, on the other hand let people just send everything they can think of there, then I will make sure it is forwarded to someones trash can. I can however agree with the decission to delete this section, it was just an relic from the AR forums and its purpose is questionable to say the least. And to be quite honest the rants got a bit off topic lately, you can use off-topic for off-topic stuff. Real complaints are likely to get more attention when they are send to the appropriate person. Most of them are recognizable on the forums due to their 4 green stars and the text "GvM1 Admin" in their profile.

Well, I'm not going to limit everyone on putting quotes in their posts. I encourage people however to keep the quotes somewhat limited and maybe only highlight what you are responding to so everyone understands the context, also if people change their post, then an answer to it may still seem to have some sence.
