Yep, already saw that.

I unzipped the CEP into the directory where the game resides which on my computer is called "C:\Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition".

The directory "Steam/steamapps/workshop/content" only contains one subdirectory called "72850".

It is empty.

All the game tells me is that I am missing a "requireed HAK".

Isn't there a log where I can see what is actually missing?

I  looked in the game directory but can't find anything.

Sorry for being so helpless on this but I just got back from Afghanistan and I don't remember these things!

I have actually been able to log in to 2 other servers and play,  so it really puzzles me what GvM says I am missing.

I additionally updated NWN:EE to v 78.8186, reapplied CEP 2.65 and the quickfix (cep2_2_65_quickfix.7z).

Now all the servers are "lit up", but I get a message that I m missing a required hak file when attempting to get on GvM.

Still working on it!

Downloaded and installed CEP 2.65.

All the server names are still dark and I cannot join any of them, including GvM.

I have sent email to GreyDeth with my public CD key.

I have loaded EE and saw the whole server list, which is so cool to see after so many years!

However, I cannot join any servers except the first one which is called Nordock playZen.

When I tried to use direct connect, i got a message "Direct Connect and UDP hole punch failed."

Any sugestions?

I just received an email from Beamdog about NWN:EE being released.

The things that really caught my eye were backward compatibility and improved multiplayer which included mention of a friend list. This reminds me of the old Gamespy multiplayer support the game had years ago.

As I recall, players really dropped off after Gamespy gave us the finger.

Has anyone here actually played this yet? I am travelling but when I hit the hotel tonight and get some WiFi, I will download this and check it out!

I was removing some items from my storage chest in the bank (room 1) and got a warning about not interfering with other players banking. I was the only player on the server at the time.

When I went back to the bank, I am sent to room 2 now and I have an empty storage chest.

Can I get back to room 1?

I have a question: the map shows Slavers Hideout branching off from Pelagrir Stronghold but I cannot find any transition there. I also have checked every door in the town and nothing. I am thinking this has to do with the quest I just got called Missing Friend?

Has anyone updated the maps?

I downloaded them and they are generally accurate enough to navigate with, but I am starting to see changes to the server since they were made.

I was in the Twin Rivers Inn in Linhir and decided to see what was upstairs.

There was a very angry Dwarf who knocked down and killed my level 21 Ranger very quickly.

Annoyed, I relogged with my highest level toon, level 36 Fighter/RDD who also got killed, though not as quickly.

This Dwarf followed me downstairs, killed my toon and proceeded to kill the NPC's down there too.

So that is the warning: he is on the first floor and he is pissed.

What is the story with that guy?

I've gotten two of those fish clubs so far.

The extra XP is much appreciated. Been playing for about 10 years and all my favorite servers are gone, plus I don't have tons of time to play so easier leveling keep me interested.

I ran into several other players on the server today.

New GvM player here, been on for about a week now.

Some observations:

XP is quite generous.
Mountain giants wield big fish.
I was happy to find this is not a LOTR clone server, I have played on several.
I fought a Xorn! Never seen one of those in NWN before.

Are there any scheduled events?

If you see me in-game, I play Staav (Level 20), and Quarion (Level 17).

Login is TM500 on server also.
