Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Future Talk / Re: Palemaster's Dracolich

1 year ago, shifters were useless until they made 'em what they are today. 6 months ago, Bgs didn't even get past 5 or 6 lvls and their summons were lame, CoTs were fighters with better saves, Holy Sword was a useless spell, there were no SD with more than 10 lvls, double weapon wms didn't exist and Druids were taken only to make dragons. I really don't think they overpowered one class and left all others behind.
Nolan said it all, and in a few words: it adds build diversity, and I'm always up to that.

You think you should be able to kill a dracolich with a sneaker ? >>
Again, never had any problem with beating then with my meleers, even with my monk I can do that, although it takes a lot of time. Full PM's needed that boost to make 'em attractive, and I liked that. Bear in mind a PM has no clvls, no spell power, no disc, no evasion, and a full bag of other 'no's that I don't remember atm.
Wait, since they are so much weaker than the dracolich how about u kill them instead?

Pel King that time got buggy, I told Turril later about that and he corrected it. He also told me he got a little stronger but not to the point of beeing invulnerable and with +100 ab

Before putting the loot on floor, rest to save your toon, and only rest again after everyone has divided the loot. that way, if the server crashes, everyone will have the items they had before the split when u log back. As for the topic... Any way of loot splitting is fine for me. I just think that, when with gigantic groups, dice rolling seems fairer, especially with uber rare items. Although, of course, those freak accidents like Khaine mentioned above can happen

I understand how you feel park, I've been using Light of Kings with my Mordor bg since the beggining and, when I get the Blind Faith from Pel Knights, I see it is only for pallies =/
At any rate, I agree with them. I just don't want every single item with it. If you have a good reasoning of why an item should not have the limitations it currently has, you can always talk to the DMs about your point.

A listen check that beats the DC by 20 pinpoints the invisible creature's location.
I'd love to use my Listen check to detect a invisible sorc that is 6 seconds away from triggering a Finger of Death on me, who is very much likely to have 0 ms. Actualy, that would also solve the problem of the lack of See Invis for players. But if I cant... well, everyone here pointed out all the consequenses

Since it has been brought up, compare the armors from Wine Taster's and Snob's on Lorien. The first is a +5, 2 con and dex, and maybe something more but I don't remember. The Snob is ... +5, 2 dex and 2 will? Or +2 will vs mind affecting spells? Anyway... with only these facts I've made my point clear

Mage Killer? No...
2 words: Chain Lightning
another 3 words: Maximized Flame arrows
more 2 words: Ice Storms
yet another 8 words: any reflex based spells will work on them
That beeing said...
The cleric option relies on HUGE ab and INCREDIBLE damage to dispatch foes quickly. Since you're crit immune, you'll also be able to resist enough to see the victim die quickly
The barb one has maybe the best taunt of the server - 20 from shape plus 20 from terryfing rage leaves open about 10 from the max bonus from items. I imagine Turril must have taken all kinds of feats to maximize that taunt as well, including ones like "Thug" and so on
The mage one is similar to the cleric. You sacrifice the damage and some of the ab to use damage shields and Epic Warding.

Look on the Players Forum a sticky post named "Mod Updates". There you'll see a BIG lettered link on one of the posts by Ollebroc in which is written "Shifter Shapes Change" (or something like that).

The 23 bard/ 7 wm / 10 rdd is a fun build to play since it can dish out a lot of damage, but it has some weaknesses because of its low saving throws. Also, it is best played in mordor because the MT has nothing with crit immunity.
Also, one of the best armors in the server (maybe) is a breastplate, so you could thinkof not selectin Heavy Armor Proef.

How exactly do u plan to unhaste a mage? By praying?
If haste gets dispelled, chances are that you are walking with a mage, too. In that case, he's probably in trouble because he didn't get the first shot and soon a green hand of lameness and the warrior will be close to then.
Now, take out our friendly mage and rethink what will happen with the lone warrior.

What are you talking about? The only way a warrior has a chance to get toe-to-toe with a mage is with horses - at the best scenario, if the mage and the warrior are both using horses they'll have the same speed, and the probability of the warrior smashing gets much higher, not much lower.
My paladin at lvl 20 was able to squish mages of that lvl because of that single horse advantage...
