I have a assassin shifter the poisons work in most shapes for best chance ate poision working equipo a wepon with no on hit properties and no flame weapon. then use a shape with no on hit effects, like a mino or spectre and the assassin posion will work every time.
Having on hit efects on pre shift wep and post shift wep and having flame wep all reduce the likelyhood of poison working.
my shifter assassin is a spectre focused con./int. based build and gets 40+ poision dcs as well as 40+ death attack dc>
very handy I did put 21 points in con for edr 3 and the rest in int so even higher dcs are possible I just liked having a edr3 crit immune kd immune hipser and he was a good tank with the high conceal until the unlimited harm self pots were removed from the pale master store lol
Actually, since we're on the subject - Do these poisons work on ranged weapons (I think I heard that they do) and can they be dispelled from the weapon (either by mords etc, or some dispel traps that seem to get EVERYTHING)?
Nothing dispells wepon buffs except running out of time due to durration experation or resting. Use assassin poisions on ammo stacks not the launchers, my other asassin build a ranger assassin sd str based loves the poisions on stacks of darts
