Edoras Mass Heal Ammy ftw!
54  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / Rogue builds / Re: 21 ranger 13 rogue 6 monk on: 16 November 2008, 05:01
Rangers get full bab like ftrs/barbs/paladins, 1 ab per 1 lvl.

if u want to take monk/rogue lvls pre epic, u take them in sets of 4 lvls (u get 3 ab) to avoid ab losses. (which i think you did)

That's pretty much it i think. So u take full 20 ranger pre epic, u get higher bab than the ones with rogue/monk lvls.

good luck.

I think people are trying to help with the build, y r u being so defensive about it?
56  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / Rogue builds / Re: 21 ranger 13 rogue 6 monk on: 15 November 2008, 03:29
You might want 14 wisdom so you can use the blade of thirst spell (14 if u wanna extend it), which gives u 1d10 magical damage.. and also can have invis purge Tongue
57  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Re: Bug? on: 11 November 2008, 04:45
Those who can solo MT don't really need GS. it's just to save time from killing worthless npcs in the city. so GS or no GS, it won't make any difference to such toons.

GS fails all the time, once dispelled / failed, u can't re GS anyway..
58  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Re: Bug? on: 10 November 2008, 16:12
don't we all hate traps (epic)? especially disj ones.. breaches everything.. T-T

I wonder if -4 is from -2 mighty -2 terri.. stacking together.. lol
60  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Players Forum / Re: Barbarian/Tenser's info request on: 03 November 2008, 04:15
Barbarian's rage:

Normal rage : +1 ab, +1 attack, -2 AC, some move speed increase

Greater rage (at lvl 15): +3 ab in total , +3 attacks(total), -4 AC

Thundering Rage: (+3 ab total) +1 extra attack (+3 from greater), -4 AC (total), +2d8 sonic damage, +2d12 mass crits. (no aura effect)

Terrifying Rage: (+3 ab total) +1 extra attack (+3 from greater), -4 AC (total), +20 taunt, the aura does like -4 ab or something...

(I m not too sure of the move speed, i think it's like +20% move speed)

Mighty Rage: no added extra attacks, but it adds whatever rage feat effect u took, such as thundering or terrifying, or both, but does extra -6 AC, so -10 ac in total, but it gives +5 ab (to stack greater rage and mighty rage ab, u must cast mighty first, then greater to get total +8 ab). and perhaps 30% move speed in total... im not sure but it seems faster than other rage.

Tensers:

+1 attack

+1ab / 2 caster lvls

Spell failure

some str and dex buff, 2d4?

+5 to their fortitude saving throws

+1d6 additional hit points per caster level.

I think barb>tensers! Tongue

I just solo-ed MT with a Sorc PM, from bashing gate to Aragorn..
Don't think it's possible to do that for WK, but going through should be ok for MM.
63  Gondor vs Mordor 1 / GvM1 Future Talk / Dragon Rant on: 24 October 2008, 14:49
hehe yup.

Perhaps before the changes are to be made, it should be outlined on the forum or something, so players will have a say about it. Tensers nerf was pretty sad.. and u dont see tensers around.. I had like 10+ tensers builds, lovely lvl 40 mules.. except 1 or 2! lol

Think before the barb buff, I was asking if it's gonna get nerfed just like how tensers were. and tada! it's nerfed.. I think it's quite important that the buff doesn't become OP. Needs to be thought carefully before introducing it, cuz nerf always causes a lot of complaints/unhappiness. It wouldn't be too bad if it was buffed but not to an extent.. but i guess the tenser's extra attacks were an accident.. Tongue

Barb rage is pretty cool, tough it's still very buggy and not completely fixed, like the greater rage not giving 3 ab, but now we get -10 ac in total with terrifying (-6ac) and greater rage (-4ac). quite a nerf, i must say.. it's like we are being forced to make either barb pm or risen barb.. because of the aura lag, the +20 taunt goes up and down.. i wish the auras get fixed somehow.

Surprisingly ftr ring's standing strong! lol.. no -ac / ftr lvls after 20? or.. - displine / ftr lvl instead.. Tongue

From Wiki:

Tenser's transformation
From NWNWiki
Jump to: navigation, search
Tenser's Transformation

Caster Level: Wizard / Sorcerer 6

Innate Level: 6

School: Transmutation

Component(s): V, S

Range: Personal

Save: Harmless

Spell Resistance: No

Area of Effect/Target: Caster

Duration: 1 Round / Level

Description: The caster becomes an engine of destruction, gaining a +1 attack bonus for every 2 caster levels, a +4 natural armor AC bonus, 20 strength, 22 dexterity, 18 constitution, +5 to their fortitude saving throws, and +1d6 additional hit points per caster level.

Notes:

#  Although called a "natural armor bonus", the bonus is in fact one of the other source of AC, which stacks with other natural armor.
# This spell grants the caster the cleave feat while transformed.
# Also while transformed, the caster's race becomes "elf", which might result in a multiclass penalty.

I was wondering if that natural bonus is also gained to increase AC, it'll be pretty nice ^^ (but in case of dragon build.. will be overpowering so maybe not for dragons Tongue)
I don't see any cleave feat on current transform and it's also not shifting caster race to elf.
Could give it an elf race too Tongue

Tenser's was buffed before, with 3 extra attacks, better str/dex buffs, and a huge discipline boost.
it was then nerfed with 1 extra attack, lower str/dex buff, and no discipline boost.
Since then, nobody plays tensers anymore.. hardly..

After the introduction of the ftr ring, a lot of ppl made ftrs. the ring, a lot of people think is overpowered with 1ab/displine per ftr lvl after lvl 20. i think ftr is quite easy to level, with good bab, decent damage, when combined with wm. they get a lot of hp too.

Then barbarian was buffed. you see barbs everywhere. it gives a lot of attacks than tensers, it has good bab, and is very easy to level too. u can achieve very high ab with barb/rdd with mighty, which requires 21 consti, and barbs get nat dr, and u get get epic drIII, so u end up like 900+ hp, good dr, good ab. but of course, ac is low, but mad attacks. a lot of npcs are getting rage as well, and they are quite scary. wonder if other ftr npcs are using the rings..

Paladin was kind of nerfed by change in HA but new HA effect was introduced. there were quite many paladins before, but not as many now. i wonder if this new HA will bring more paladin users back.

Now there is shifter buff. it's a good one i guess, not overpowered as i see right now, but need more experience with it to see if anything can be abused..

There are new monk items introduced. I'm guessing they are pretty powerful since all the buffs that were made are pretty overpowered now.

So.. what im asking is if tensers could get slight buff, not the one it used to be, but perhaps 2 extra attacks instead of 1, and discipline boost 1 per caster or 1 per 2 caster lvls. in most cases with higher caster levels, they get 3 attacks. adding 1 attack is just like normal toon attack. but of course there are exceptions like ftr6/wm7/wiz27, gets 4 base attacks. but i think if this buffs are added, perhaps more ppl will play tensers too. tensers are tough to level, and their hp is really low, and when they get dispelled, they are pretty much dead.. to get high ab, need to have wizard tensers, and wiz tensers dont have enough spell for offensive much, only some self buffs, and tensers, a few igms/horrid/disj. with sorc, ab is evidently lower (but a few other builds). Ftr's ring is permanent, no disj can strip the buff, so is barb's rage, unless someone abuse something... Tongue

Would like a slight buff please! Cheesy 2 extra attacks / some discipline boost! ^^

Hi everyone. maybe some of you already know, maybe some don't,
so i'm just writing to let those who don't already know about this.

I did ask a dm about invisible cloak but i heard there's nothing that can be done..
was looking though .ini files and i saw this

nwnplayer.ini file

under [Game Options]

change ---> Visible Cloaks=1 to Visible Cloaks=0

restart nwn, there you have it! no ugly cloaks seen! just be what it was before Cheesy
