No PW's Sad

Sounds like just another run of the mill game then, sad they could have just expanded and upgraded NWN1 instead of the shambles of NWN2.

Reminds me of Champ Man were through progressive upgrades the game got worse and worse.

Ive a feeling this will go the way of NWN 2  huh

IMO, just leave Neverwinter Nights for Bioware. They know what they're doing.

I just hope someday Bioware makes NWN3. I'm sure it'll be good if it comes from Bioware. =P

So what happened with NWN2?  I never played it.  Some of the screenshots looked nice, but I never heard anything special about it.  Was it a good game, but expectations were so high coming from NWN1 that it was doomed to fail?

If a game developer wanted to poll the community to consider what be done in a new release of NWN1, there are plenty of people who'd contribute to that conversation.  Heck, they don't even have to use the same name or say it is a NWN1 re-release of sorts.   Make the graphics flashier, and keep it highly customizable so players can do what they really want.

So is anyone other than me playing the new Neverwinter MMO? It's actually quite good fun, though it's not very similar to NWN. It IS free though!

I have started playing DDO because it was free and ended up becoming Premium there, aka "pay when you want" - which is not bad and suits me well, mind you.

But once they start selling "Raid timer bypasser" and the 10th "limited time release" stone of experience to go from lvl 8 to 16 you realize the thin line between free and dumping money carelessly, although I must admit I'd not complain if I were a gamer with Bill Gate's account.

Still, it's worth to be careful, and ask yourself why do you play the game.

I'm glad that doesn't apply to me =D they have things to buy, but none of them interest me.
The founder's pack can go jump in a lake, respecs can suck it (I had plenty practice making new characters on here, I'm used to it), and if I don't have the best gear I don't really care ^_^

I keep hearing people say they're just playing it a placeholder until Elder Scrolls Online comes out...but I have a much longer history with Neverwinter so I think I'll just stick to it.

also, for those who are interested, I play on the Dragon shard. You can make different characters on different shards, but you can't swap them once they're on a shard. All the shards will be merged eventually, but for now they're separate.
