I think bard is the single base class that has the least or maybe even no 'only useable by bard' items. There are quite a lot of items dotted around the mod that has +perform, other than that it is probably charisma + strength/dex items that are best suited.

Doing some looking around there are these items that suite a bard build:

Boots: Dancing shoes
Cloak: Performers cape
Helmet: Depending on your build, Corsair Protector, Gondor Knight Helmet, Balrog skull can be nice too but wisdom bonus on it will get wasted
Belt: there is a belt for bards but I don't know what its like

Armour, Ring, Ammy, Shield: nothing really specific to bards
Misc items: Tuning fork, Vai's Guitar, nimblefinger gauntlets are all good for helping to max out song

There are a few bosses that are bards so may drop stuff that fill in the blanks...

The belt is quite good - it's called the songweave sash and has about +10 perform and freedom once per day on it, as well as a dex bonus and some other things.

My Bard/RDD/PM has all of the above with following:
Shadow Dragon Armor
Ring of Elvish Senses for Taunt +10
Ammy from Olog-Hai Bonecrusher perfect for RDD
The Wall /BD Shield
I hear there was a perfect longsword for bards but I've never seen it/what it's called/who drops it
