Questions...

1st - how does the intimidate check work on terrifying rage? According to nwn wiki the DC is intimidate skill + 1d10, so that means, for arguments sake, a level 40 toon with a skill of 40 intimidate would have a minimum DC of 41, however I have been testing in the test area and it's dropping below 40.

2nd - if a toon has immunity to mind spells whether it's from mind blank spells, protection from alignment or perma immuntity (or fear immune?), as pretty much anyone/any npc has these days, does that make terrifying rage a little redundant? Again testing in the test area, the moria orc mages cast mind blank on everyone and they all become immune to any of the effects of terrifying rage.

NVM about question 1 - missed that detail on the update flag.

Looks like immunity to something does block out the effects of the rage though as the target is not forced to save - it just says in the log that they are immune to the effects.

So I am looking at the code now, and realize it isn't setup how I say it is.

They do get a will save versus mind spells, which means they don't have to make a save if they are immune - not what I intended.

Please check for me after next reset if this is working properly.

After building a specialist intimidate barbarian, its kind of a disappointment. Even with the small amount of useful intimidate items and epic skill etc etc, there is no way you can get a descent DC on this as all the high level npcs in the cities etc have so high saves, probably due to 3d8 minus that is going on in the new intimidate calcs. I think the original DC calc of intimidate +1d10 would be more practical.

Unlike taunt where it is just a flat DC, the change to intimidate just makes the available DC too low.

It was a hard number to figure because we have other players and "regular" difficulty NPCs that have normal saves.  For them, I think the terrifying rage DC is good.  Then we've got that tier of bosses who have saves thru the roof, and the DC is probably useless.
