Not sure if this is a new bug...

Dwarves (and I guess other smaller races e.g. halflings and gnomes) can not seem to get close enough to even attempt to hit him.

To try compare it to something that makes more sense - it's like sticking a DD in stance and then the opponents moves just out of melee range - he just stands there in melee mode. Well the same happens on a permanent bases with Glaurung - you just can't get close enough (probably due to his size).

I haven't a clue how you're doing this, I just thoroughly tested this idea offline and found it impossible to not hit a Glaurung-sized dragons with halfling, gnome, and dwarf unless you're intentionally sticking yourself in DD stance before you even get to him, or if you're stuck behind an object (he can still hit over it)

If this is repeatable as you say, you should take a screenshot or get a DM to watch - could provide some further insight.

Well I am just reporting what happened - I used one of my barbarian toons so was just using DD stance as an vague similarity example. No objects were in the way. At first I thought a BB was getting in the way but I asked the summoner to unsummon it but that didn't help. Will try next time, I guess.
