I made a similar build but instead of Paladin I went Ranger.
It doesn't have un-resistable damage but it does get 2d10 magical from Blade Thirst. Also it doesn't need CHA so you can go all STR. I remember it got 54 STR with +12.
I think AB with only weapon and no buffs was 60 or 61. With aid/bless/premonition it goes to 68/69. Not to mention being Sorcerer you can use tenser scrolls for +5 ab. DMG is uber, specially with Flame of Udun(my weapon of choice)
Sounds a lot like the build fire posted several years ago here:
http://www.gondorvsmordor.com/gvm2/forum/index.php?topic=1022.0Although with all the changes, if you're making a Ranger/rdd, you'd be better off going Double-sided weapon instead of 2-hander, as you get +2APR at high ab, and +6 ac, without really losing anything.
For OP's build, I've seen several of them over the years, and the build is quite nice. High ab, high ac, can easily offtank some mobs that get loose in the party, and irresistible damage is fantastic. There are also quite a few good Bastard Swords as well, with a variety of damage types, so even if something has resistance to what you're using, not hard to swap out for another weapon/damage type.
