I usually try to set myself a target when thinking up a new build, and this time around I wanted to have divine might on a high ab character that was _NOT_ a dragon, so I could use it with a nice two-hander like axe/scythe/halberd and benefit from crit multiplier a bit more.
I started out trying to combine paladin/barbarian with assassin, to at least give this guy some conceal to make up for total lack of ac, but couldn't quite get it working (yet?). Giving up on that endeavor, I wanted to add a class that didn't require a lot of levels to become useful.
With the changes to harper scout, I usually try that one, but that sounded boring (although it could probably work well on this toon also). Instead, it turned out that the CoT fits so nicely, that I just _had_ to add it instead!
With proper (but not uber) gear, you should be able to get this toon to around 69 ab, 8 attacks/round, with +8 divine damage from might.
Ow, another plus: it is easy to lvl, because you only use "perfect" ab classes.
Toon can be played both sides, but for Mordor you start as barbarian of course. Ok, here goes:
Human, any alignment strength 16 con 14 char 14 wis 14 int 10
pre-epic: take barb and paladin only, to leave CoT bonus feats for epic pre-epic feats: blind fight, weapon focus, power attack, divine might (take on pala lvl), ext spell (great for divine favor), improved crit, skill focus discipline, knockdown
post-epic feats: great strength up to VI thundering rage (take on barb lvl!) (since you take barb20, it gives extra attack/rnd)
CoT bonus feats: epic prowess epic weapon focus
skills: discipline is a must i take concentration and taunt as well (class skills for paladin)
