Is there any certain requirments to join or can I just make a character, It will be a good build, I promice. ^^.  I would just love to join because it sounds like something interesting to do, and it shouldn't be too hard to get to 25 quickly.  Also, if I am allowed to join do you want a pvp oriented toon, a pvm oriented toon, a mage, a mele.  If it's a mele you want I've got a good idea for one already. ^^ pvp and pvm. anyways....  Also, remember if I join, you don't have to worry about resistance from my toons. :p

There aren't any requirements per se.  JUst get with me in game and tell me the build you want to make.  I just want to make sure we don't have too much overlap.  We have overlap, for example, in WM builds right now.  So I wouldn't recommend making one of those.

Just let me know in game and we'll go from there. ;-)

Well ye need to be a bit "evil minded" since yer playing a Mordor character.

Wouldn't be much of a mordor guild if we're gonna bake cookies
to sell to the Gondor farmers in pelenor fields right?  laugh

Also if yer looking for what kind of build (pvp or pvm),
ye won't be needing a farmerbuild or such. But I think you might want
to consider a bit of both.

Would be bad PR if we get smacked by all those gondies all the time  wink,
but you never know what we come up against when an event takes place.

Basically you're making a build for a guild. So anything that could benifit a party
is a good choice, since it's probable that you'll be questing with friends.

See ye guys on the battlefield!

Cheers,

Loc

Absolutely NOT!  Unless your class has an alignment requirement, I would recommend you be neutral so pallys don't destroy you.  You just can't be good...

So now you're making a band of CN chars whose total craziness could only be aligned with Mordor, and not some evil-doers that want to murder, destroy and rape?  huh

As PnP states:
*Lawful Neutral is the alignment of people who values the law over personal thought and common sense
*True Neutral is the alingment of people who believe in balance over good vs evil, law vs chaos
*Chaotic Neutral is the alingmento of lunatics and crazy people. They can be benevolent to you one day and attempt to murder you on the next for no apparent reason.
*Lawful Evil is the alignment of people who uses laws to their own personal use
*Neutral Evil is for egocentric people who only think about themselves. They see people as tools and they don't think twice about leaving their conrades to save themselves.
*Chaotic evil is for people who want to muder, destroy and rape, not necessarily in that order, just because they love it.

So then based on your arguments to keep horses as they are I would say you are Lawful Evil.

Stop playing pally's, its bad rp.

Funny, that comment made me remind that I made my paladin at BG 2 become Lawful Evil at Irenicus last dungeon.

I gave up on rp a long time ago, now all I want is to make a pally/bard/pm with the deceased uber ha and horseriding so I can come here and be accused of "exploiting" because I had an idea that anyone could have had.

Oh, and you must read better. Point me out where I said I propose to keep 'em as they are. On the proper thread.

And that is why we play here, isnt it? The freedom to or not to RP, the freedom to build what we like and of course to ride horses if we like. I always enjoyed that freedom we were given to. Cheesy

Oh yeah, that is right for sure. I was just trying to joke around the fact that the guild is "Black Ruin" and everyone will tend to be neutral. No offense meant, and maybe thats why pink made another witty comment. Maybe he was joking as well and I got it wrong too.

If they got offended, then I apologize for it, that wasn't what I meant to do.

Alignments are not a big part of this server.  Never have been.  The only restrictions that have ever been enforced are those related to class, and mords can't be good and gonds can't be evil.  Beyond that, its up to you.

BTW, I think its pretty silly that this got into such a long conversation.  Play what you want and don't worry about what other people are playing.

That's a great way to nerf those dragon builds!
