38    Blackguard (24)
39    Blackguard (25), Great Charisma II, Improved Sneak Attack
40    Blackguard (26), 1 CHA

I can max Discipline and two other skills of choice, and also get twenty and something points left for another skill.

And no, I don't care about the 13 DES and 13 INT, it would use full plate anyway, that gives +1 DES Max to AC, and I have plenty of skill points to use.

Gives me a sorry AC, a nice bonus to smite good, Divine Might, 9d6 sneak attack and the best BAB.

What do you people think?

Hm.... If this is going to be a Smiter build then why don't you go all Smiter? If this is going to be a Hitter build then why not all Hitter? Do you see what I am saying? I don't see any Great Smites so Smiting isn't going to do any good extra damage. I can see why you would want to go CHA for Divine Might however. If this was up to me I would say screw the CHA, put it all into STR, giving him a much higher AB, and then you can even add the Bull Strengths, +2 Attacks and what, 5 AB?

Just taking out the Great CHA I and II, Extra Smiting, and putting those skill points into STR you could get a potential +4 AB and Damage From that. Also well.... Maybe you should use the Overwhelming Critical... That would give you an extra 4d6 or 5d6 to damage on Crits yes? So you could either chose that or not take Great Cleave and maybe take Imp KD? I don't remember what the INT requirement is but if you arn't going CHA I am sure you could find a couple extra skill points to put into INT. And that gives you a extra feat to Max out. All inm al lthough a nice versatile build.

Yes... I thought about that for a while... The thing that I don't like about smiters is that they have to find an evil/good enemy, and hit three times. They can't do nothing else than that. Very restrictive.

I agree that a pure smiter would have many times higher smite good, getting 25 CHA and the Great Smiting Feats. I also agree that a pure hitter would have better BAB, but more or less the same damage, because Divine Might would be useless, very short time. Imp KD is Int 13, I could get that... was short on feats however...

My idea was to make a hitter. However, I realized that good CHA would give room to Divine Might, and... since we're here... smite a bit. The trade seemed worth it, four less AB and six less damage for ten or eleven more damage, and three times per day +10 or 11 more AB and 26 more damage. All multiplied by five in crits.

Ah, I can see your reasoning. I'll see what I can come up with from my side. If I ever get around to it... Also, his AC shouldn't be to bad since WM get the Stackable deflection ac or something, and if you get the +5 Shield AC ring from Corsairs guy, that'll help also.

The stacking deflection ac is only for double-sided weapons and qstaves I believe.

Ah, ok. That's kinda lame though, even though I can sorta see the point. A lot easier to deflect something with a quarterstaff then with a Scythe or Greatsword.

I'm pretty sure it's called something like "Shield Ring" IIRC.

It's only usable by WM, though, and can't be UMDed.

I will try and get you a Shield Ring so you can have it. No need to trade for it.

I presume that the Shield Ring is to make up for 2 handers not having a shield but does it work if you are duel weilding as well?

It works even if you're just wielding one weapon and would rather carry a torch in your off hand =D

It just adds +5 Shield AC bonus (just like a shield).  All that matters is that you have WM levels.

I currently use the shield ring on my Fighter,WM,Wizard. 5 AC changes things a little but not a whole lot.

Haha sounds liek a lot of people need them. If they drop from Corsairs whats so hard about them? Or is it the Corsair City and not the hideout camp place?

The ring is from a boss in Corsair City.
