can anyone confirm if zen archery increases ab while in (epic) drider form, just as it normally works?

and any archery-enhancing feats as well ( ie. rapid shot, called shot, etc.) - do they work normally for this form?

thx in advance Smiley

I just checked and Zen Archery does count.

...and other stuff you probably know

Drider becomes epic at lvl15 with +7 bow.

They get point blank shot for free at that level but not rapid shot, which you have to have point blank shot to take.  Unless you're hasted rapid shot is a must, and still a good idea with hasted chars.

Driders have a fixed DEX and STR score so I would put next to no points in those at creation.

Put points in concentration, shifters seem to get hit while using special abilities so things like darkness in the middle of a fight tend to get interrupted easily without it.

You cannot smite things with a bow in drider shape.

Hmm, I was wondering, Rapid Shot is included in the "AB reset only 1 time per round", right? So if u had a normal 40/35/30/25 attack schedule, and u have haste and Rapid Shot on, you'd get 38/33/28/23/38/33, right?

drider bows have their own endless ammo supply the non epic drider gets neg and acid the epic gets that and +5 prc acts like a +5 wpn for dr purposes I imagine you could make a  good divine archer with clrc or even bg lvls. Nice idea Schlix.

i was actually looking at drider as a secondary form to give some versatility to a stone golem tank (Druid6/Shifter16/Dwarven Defender18). but taking cleric or blackguard in lieu of Dwd is a great idea. or even monk if you want an AC boost - tho it would only be at the 2/3's.
